Saudi Arabia King Visits Russia for the First Time
King of Saudi Arabia, Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, arrived in Moscow. The monarch's plane landed in Moscow's airport Vnukovo-2, in the Government Terminal. He was greeted by government officials and by the Preobrazhensky Regiment Honor Guard with an orchestra.
I'll note that the King arrived with a representative delegation of about 1000 people including key ministers.
This is the first official state visit in the history of the two countries' relations. Both sides have high expectations. Cooperation of the two countries, both oil giants is an essential factor of stability in the Middle East.
The King's negotiations with Vladimir Putin are scheduled for tomorrow. They plan to discuss the situation on the oil market and collaboration in areas including military engineering. Several common investment deals are prepared.
The King's visit will last for 3 days.
