Ukrainian "Snowden" Reveals Secret Internal Documents of Kiev’s Government

On Thursday in Kiev, near the Verkhovnaya Rada building, everything was in black smoke again. Nationalists burned smoke bombs and flares. This way, they accompanied the adoption by the Verkhovnaya Rada of two bills introduced on Wednesday to the parliament by the President of Ukraine.

Poroshenko's initiative actually means Kiev's withdrawal from the Minsk agreements. It was also "stuffy" in the Verkhovnaya Rada session hall. People's deputy Yuri Levchenko started an attack, and a sweaty fight followed, as usual. Having failed, Levchenko fired a smoke bomb near the speaker's stand and left.

In such circumstances, the presidential laws, however, were adopted. We won’t bore you with their essence, since it's pointless, because, in general, Ukrainian laws don’t change the situation on Earth in any way. Ukrainian laws are one thing, and Donbass and what is located on the border with it are other things. Our military correspondent, Alexander Sladkov, reporting the latest news from Donbass.

The main cultural event in Donbass is a concert of the legendary band, Pesnyary. Without fear of sanctions, Anatoly Kasheparov, the soloist who has been living in the United States for a long time, came personally.

Anatoly Kasheparov, soloist of the Pesnyary band: "I’ve never betrayed my friends! My friends, in any condition, whether alive or dead, I'll never betray them. This is my credo".

- Do you have friends here?

Anatoly Kasheparov, soloist of the Pesnyary band: "Of course. I have a lot of friends here, a lot".

In the US, Anatoly collects money for the Donbass Children's Fund.

Anatoly Kasheparov, soloist of the Pesnyary band: "We held five concerts and sent money here. I didn’t send it, but I worked at the concerts. And, by the way, the receipts were excellent, and everyone was responsive."

- Did Americans also help?

Anatoly Kasheparov, soloist of the Pesnyary band: "Of course, of course. Many Americans go to the local Orthodox church."

This week, it was confirmed once again that not all the Americans help children. An officer of the Security Service of Ukraine, through whom all secret orders and commands related to the war in Donbass were passed, came to the DPR’s side with all the secret documents and key settings.

- They call you the Ukrainian Snowden.

Roman Labusov, former head of the encryption department of the SSU Directorate: "Probably, there are reasons".

Roman Labusov brought data on the participation in the organization of the Ukrainian crisis of the so-called Democracy Support Fund and 140 foreign funds working in Kiev.

Roman Labusov organized an online resource "SSU Inside" and uploads Ukrainian secret documents there.

"Of course, they’ll be hunting me, — Roman Labusov, former head of the encryption department of the SSU Directorate. — But I can’t remain silent because I think it's my duty to tell people the truth, not just to tell about it, but to prove it".

Another important event.

Yuzov Metallurgical Plant was launched in Donetsk. The plant was stopped before the war when it belonged to Ukraine. And it cost a tremendous effort to launch it.

Alexei Granovsky, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Donetsk People's Republic: "We plan to reach the level of 15 thousand tons within a month or a month and a half. And by the end of the year, to reach 30 thousand tons per month. This isn’t the maximum capacity, because, I’ll remind you, it was the most modern enterprise in the Soviet Union. It produced more than a million tons of steel per year, and we’ll make plans for this amount".

Now, 800 people are working at Yuzov Metallurgical Plant, mostly young people. They are recruiting another 400.

Sergei Sosiyev, the main power engineer of the plant: "In fact, the staff problem was one of the main issues. Some people left somewhere, some people grew old. We had to recruit new people, look for old workers and train them in the course of the production process".

In fact, the Yenakiyevo Metallurgical Plant, a cotton mill, and furniture factories operate in the Donetsk People's Republic. Here, they assemble buses and excavators, make mining combines, and launched a steel wire plant. It has orders for six months ahead worth 85 million rubles.

And in the meantime in Kiev, a law to restore sovereignty over Donbass was adopted in the first reading. What was the reaction? At the front line, they only shrug their shoulders and prepare for a long defense.

- How will this affect the front line?

Callsign "Batya," DPR Army soldier: "I think it’ll be "fun" on the front line because the nationalist battalions and the Armed Forces of Ukraine are very well-prepared and trained. This isn’t 2014 when we could beat them with sticks. Now, everything will be harder and harder. So, everything depends on politics".

The next Minsk meetings that were held this week didn’t bring any news. There was no agreement achieved neither on prisoners nor on the law rehabilitating the militia of Donbass. Kiev has difficulties adopting this law, unlike the law on reintegration.
