Ships from the Baltic Fleet have conducted exercises in the Mediterranean Sea. The crew of the corvettes "Witty" and "Sparky" underwent naval gunnery practice. The shots were made at seaborne targets of a hypothetical enemy. The corvettes, which were located in unprotected coastal waters, successfully accomplished their protective and defensive tasks.

Afterward, aircrews of Ka-27 helicopters carried out training flights over the Mediterranean Sea. The ship detachment of the Baltic Fleet left the port of Kaliningrad on October 14th. Since then, the corvettes have covered a distance of over 20,000 nautical miles, successfully carrying out dozens of training tasks.
