Americans run true to form. But somehow without imagination. On Saturday the Russian Center for Reconciliation in Syria reported that the US is gathering remnants from former ISIS and Al-Nusra Front. They train them, arm them, equip them and form into a new Syrian army of sorts, for a new war against the government forces.

The work is going on in the camp, which is 20 km northeast of the city of Jisr Al-Shaddadah. The zone is under control of the Americans. This is where the US let run-away bandits from Raqqa, Deir ez-Zor and Abu Kamal pass. Now there are about 750 fighters. 400 of them are from the former ISIS. It seems like it will be the opposition.

In fact, this is a typical rebranding. All this rabble will be cynically renamed. So irrepressible.
