Moscow’s Subway Passengers Can Now Admire the Stars While Commuting

Passengers of the Moscow metro can now travel around the Solar system right in the subway.

Passengers of the Moscow metro can now travel around the Solar system right in the subway. As part of the World Space Week, a mobile planetarium was opened on the Vystavochnaya station on the 60th anniversary of the launch of the first artificial Earth satellite.

 

A special dome-shaped display will be showing films about the Universe 9 to 30 minutes long.

The underground planetarium will keep working till October 10th.
