What will the Syrian constitution be like? Students of the Syrian University lawyers, economists, teachers and delegates of the Sochi National Dialogue Congress are currently discussing the program of state recovery and the preparation of the main document of the Arab Republic.

Mikhail Fedotov with the details.

"This bridge in Deir ez-Zor was destroyed". Dina Hussein, the student of Tishreen University, the largest one in Lattakia is presenting her project: a bridge over the Euphrates to replace the destroyed one. It's just a model now but Dina hopes that the government will find money to connect the two banks of the river in Deir ez-Zor.

Dina Hussein, student of Tishreen University: "We hope to create even better projects in the future even better than this one".

Within the walls of the University, the future lawyers, economists, and teachers and the delegates of the Sochi National Dialogue Congress are discussing the state recovery, humanitarian issues and the new Constitution.

Delegate of Congress: "Tell the Congress that those who're speaking about democracy so much primarily the US don't stick to their principles. They're building their empires on our misery".

Every guest knows for sure what Western democracy turned out to be: thousands of people dead, houses destroyed, and the land desolated.

Suheil Yunes, delegate of Congress: "All Syrian people must rally against our common enemy — the United States of America. It caused everything that's happening in the region".

All Syrians want security which means the elimination of the Syrian terrorists. People hope that Russia will help them.

Asar Ayash Suleiman, postgraduate of Tishreen University: "Everybody should take part in the restoration of Syria including the opposition not the armed one, but the one that's ready for a dialogue and wants to purge our land from the terrorist threat."

Rami Dib, delegate of Congress: "We want unity and the national reconciliation. We support our President and Vladimir Putin. Many people want to attend the Congress because they trust Russia and believe that your country can bring peace to Syria".

Syria's got enough internal issues. It used to be one of the most progressive economies in the Middle East. Now it's torn apart by the war and requires radical reforms.

Masha Maaruf, student of Tishreen University: "We must repair the houses and fight corruption profiteer, and the hyperinflation".

In Sochi, delegates will discuss the ways to solve these and many other issues. 1500 people from the coasts of the Mediterranean from different provinces, cities, and villages will go to the coast of the Black Sea. They represent various ethnicities, political parties, and movements. The Sochi Congress will be held on January 29 and 30.
