"I'm dumping my Facebook stock and deleting my page" was the last post of the American comedian Jim Carrey on the popular network. His account was called "Jim Carrey Is Here." Well, not anymore.

It's not a joke. The comedian has taken the matter seriously. He deleted his page, I have to quote: "Because Facebook profited from Russian interference during the US election."

He added a caricature of Facebook's founder Mark Zuckerberg to his final speech. All these pictures he draws himself symbolize his negative attitude towards Donald Trump who, according to Carrey, was elected thanks to the proverbial Kremlin's hand with the help of Facebook.

The company allegedly spent $100,000 on Republican ads — a considerable sum for the organization that is capable of realigning politics.

After his breakup with Facebook, Jim Carrey went on talking to his fans on Twitter, the same network Donald Trump uses. The comedian has created a new hashtag #unfriendFacebook.

However, other Hollywood stars didn't support it.
