War Seems Inevitable: Ukrainian POW Admits Sabotage Teams Are Probing Donbass Defences

According to the military, the Ukrainian sabotage parties have been more active at the contact line. They're constantly trying to breach their defenses. According to the military, such actions usually precede a large-scale invasion.
Recently, one of such groups from the 57th mechanized infantry brigade that's stationed not far from Peski sent a group to seize the positions of the Donetsk people's militia. They failed to do that and were welcomed by fire. They lost two soldiers and retreated. The DNR army managed to capture one of the saboteurs. Vasily Leonidovich Zhemelinsky — a 22-year-old volunteer. He's been serving in the UAF for three years. We managed to arrange an interview and ask him about the current state of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the morale of the soldiers. Let's hear his story.
Vasily Zhemelinsky: "We've built two new warehouses and are filling them with fuel and ammunition. Even though our commanders think we're ready to fight I wouldn't say so. Everything must be perfect. The ATO Commission recently visited us. Some generals, colonels. Brought some foreigners with them. Two groups of Americans and Poles on two vehicles. The inspected all our positions checked if they were ready if we were ready to launch an offensive any minute when we receive an order".
I'd like to point out that this soldier who was fulfilling an order of his command has been proclaimed deserter by the UAF. The casualties they suffered during the battle aren't listed anywhere. The DNR authorities once again address the world community and the Normandy Four asking them to influence Kiev to prevent the potential bloodshed that becomes possible with the new law restore the conflict to the political track to resolve it peacefully.
