BREAKING: A Hero’s Death - Islamic Terrorists Shoot Down Russian Pilot in Syria Using MANPAD Missile
It was peaceful in Sochi while in Syria there is still place for feats.
On Saturday, terrorists of Hay'at Tahrir Al-Sham, formerly known as Jabhat Al-Nusra, shot down a Russian SU-25SM with Man-Portable Air Defense systems (MANPADS) in the skies of the Idlib de-escalation zone. The pilot was catapulted, descended on a parachute and took a fight with terrorists on the ground.
It was an unequal battle. The hero died valiantly.
The Ministry of Defense hasn't revealed his name so far. In response, a surgical strike was delivered against the concentration of militants where the missile was launched from. 30 terrorists were eliminated.
Now it is important to understand who supplies the MANPADS to terrorists so that Russia can decide on further actions.
