Ingushetia is ready to fully supply Qatar with drinking water. The economic cooperation is currently being discussed in Doha. The city welcomed a delegation of officials and businessmen.

Ingush delegation in Doha. These days, the headlines are all about the Russian region ready to trade with one of the major Persian Gulf countries.
Water, fruit, folk craft products — here's a small list of what Ingushetia is offering Qatar's business. Our southern region is even ready to welcome tourists from the Middle East.
The large Ingush delegation includes ministers and well-known entrepreneurs. During the numerous meetings with the local businessmen and representatives of Qatar's government, our southern ambassadors share the benefits of Ingushetia's geographic position.
Akhmed Palankoyev, president of Russia-Qatar council: "Recently, the relationship between the two countries has improved and strengthened dramatically Our common interests became closer. Today, Qatar requires food shipments, services, and many other things we can offer".
The unique mountain nature helps Ingush farmers create the so-called organic products — fruit and vegetables grown with a minimum use of chemicals and fertilizers. The contemporary refined Middle East greatly appreciates that. The taste of the Caucasus honey mesmerized the official delegates.
Abdullah Ben Saud al Thani, head of Qatar's Investment Authority: "We'll be discussing infrastructure, the construction of hotels, and energy".
Reaching out to Russia wasn't easy for Qatar — the country is getting used to living in an artificial isolation. The main event during the visit was the meeting of the head of Ingushetia and the emir of Qatar. Yunus-bek Yevkurov was speaking to Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani for more than half an hour.
Before the meeting, the Ingush representative handed over Putin's message to the Emir. Our President invited him to visit Russia once again.
Yunus-bek Yevkurov, head of Ingushetia: "I'd like to take this opportunity and present you the message of Russian President Vladimir Putin. Despite his packed schedule, the Emir had a long conversation with the head of Ingushetia".
Despite the main part being closed for the press, the dialogue was established says Yunus-bek Yevkurov in a short interview to our channel.
Yunus-bek Yevkurov, head of Ingushetia: "They saw how Putin regards Qatar and they want to strengthen the bond including the one between Vladimir Putin and His Highness Emir of Qatar. Such great projects will help us strengthen the bonds the projects that involve social, investment, economic, and tourist aspects".
Besides official meetings, Doha hosted several concerts of Ingush performance groups. Fiery highlander dances touched the feelings of Doha's audience. Folk crafts were also exhibited here. Articles made from fish skin and national attires fascinated the local fashionistas.
Ingushetia and Qatar are almost 2500 km apart. But judging by the results of the work of the delegation in Doha the distance is no threat to serious relationships. First steps towards each other have been made.
Soon, Ingushetia awaits a serious "deployment" of the Middle Eastern businessmen.
