Putin and Russian Olympic Team Sing National Anthem Together

Vladimir Putin: Dear friends, Welcome to everybody who's now here, in Luzhniki. It's not just Luzha (puddle) as it was called several years ago. It's our famous Luzhniki that we are proud of. Welcome to everybody who's come to this rally for a strong Russia. But I'd like to welcome not only those who are in the center of Moscow now, but all our supporters all over our great country. There are many of them, hundreds of thousands, millions of people.

On this festive, sunny, frosty day in Moscow, I'd like to say that we feel their breath, elbow, shoulder by our side. Because together, we are a team. We are a team, right?

Vladimir Putin: Our goals are clear, plain, and righteous. We want to make our country bright, future-oriented because our ancestors lived here and now we live here as well as our children and our grandchildren. We'll do our best to provide a happy future for them. We’ll do it, right?
