Russia’s Formidable Pantsir-S Divisions Go on Test Run at Firing Range in Astrakhan Region

Surface-to-air missile complexes Pantsir-S have destroyed a manoeuvre enemy at the Ashuluk proving ground in Astrakhan region. Over 20 combat vehicles fired at the targets. The targets imitated cruise missiles, aviation, drones and land equipment.

Pantsir-S can meet an attack by itself, or in a group. AA mounts exchange data via closed channels. Each complex fires at its own target, they can't aim at the same one. Pantsir-S protects the territory from air strikes and covers for long-range complexes, such as S-300 and S-400.
