Moscow and Moscow region were united for the development of industry. The agreement on close cooperation was signed today by Mayor Sergei Sobyanin and Moscow Region Governor Andrei Vorobyev. It includes, among other things, the production of noiseless ecological electric buses of a new generation.

About how two regions will go being in one crew — a report by Yaroslav Krasienko.

Metal grinding, sparks, constantly working conveyor — this is how the ideal economic interaction between Moscow and the Moscow region looks like. The city orders modern buses, and the region builds them — 200 per month.

Roman Andreev, LiAZ: "The fact is that we have one work shift a day now, and we produce 8-10 units of machines. If it is necessary, if we have orders, we are ready to double production by working in two shifts".

The Moscow region is thousands of business threads that connect not only divisions of large state corporations, such as Rosatom, Roskosmos, Rostekh, but also small private companies. In spite of this, the city and the region developed separately for a long time. Now they have a common strategic agreement on development in different spheres, the main thing — in the industries.

Sergei Sobyanin, Mayor of Moscow: "The industry of the Moscow region is more than 20% of the all-Russian. Of course, not only the well-being of the region, but also the well-being of a country as a whole depends on how it functions and how it develops — well-being of hundreds of thousands of people who work at our industrial enterprises".

Today has been signed a document by which the city and the region will jointly support their industrialists, prepare personnel, and work together to promote the finished product. The Moscow region will become a truly unified economic space.

Andrei Vorobyov, Governor of the Moscow region: "Our strategic goal is to implement large-scale programs that ensure economic growth, provide employment, allow us to collect taxes, which we could direct at solving urgent problems".

As part of the agreement, a united portal of producers from the Moscow region will be created to make the plants know about each other's needs in various supply orders.

Alexei Fursin, City Hall official: "It will allow to load the Moscow's and Moscow region's enterprises with additional works, additional orders, thereby increasing revenue and creating new workplaces".

The strategic goal of all these agreements is the uniform development of the entire 20 million Moscow agglomeration so that the inhabitants of the regional cities do not have to look for work tens of kilometers from the house. At the same time, this will relieve the transport arteries of the region.

Thanks to this economic symbiosis of the capital and the region, the city of Likino-Dulyovo has also become an innovative center. Here they will begin to produce at the end of the year the transport of the future for Moscow — the electric buses. This spring they will begin to produce the newest cruise buses specifically for the FIFA World Cup.
