New Development Plan: 3000 High-Paying Jobs Expected in South Yakutia Over Next Three Years

The Advanced Development Territory South Yakutia is planned to be expanded. The Advanced Development Territories were created last year. Let's see the first results.
Dmitry Makarov will tell about them.
Meter by meter, coal miners go deeper into the ground extracting tons of this solid fuel. In the Demisovskaya mine in South Yakutia, big layers go hundreds of meters down.
Valeriy Chikalyuk, shaft worker: "As you see, the layer isn't low or high. Its height is 4 meters or 3.7 meters on average. These are perfect conditions".
In the neighboring Inaglinsky coal enriching complex, they do open-pit mining. A new excavator is being tested here. As the driver says, it's passing the Yakutia frosts test successfully.
The excavator driver: "It's all about good maintenance. If it takes place on time, the equipment will work".
Last year alone, the coal extraction on the two sectors was increased by one-fourth, to 4,5 million tons. First of all, it was achieved thanks to big investments. Companies' investments into the South Yakutia production reached 25 billion roubles.
Sergey Tsivilyov, Kolmar CEO: "People started believing that they have a future, that they'll work at the Kolmar facilities for a long time. We explain to everyone that the job we have is for more than 30 years. We see 30 years clearly, and also predict 50 years of our enterprise's work".
The Denisovsky and Inaglinsky coal enriching complexes, which are part of Kolmar, are the main areas of the Advanced Development Territory South Yakutia. These are economic areas with preferential terms for doing business. In the coming years, with the growth in residents number, a big manufacturing center is expected to be created here.
Yevgeny Chekin, the Sakha (Yakutia) Government Chairman: "Despite having introduced tax exemptions, we expect tax payments worth more than 12 billion by 2025".
Meanwhile, coal miners are working on improving the product quality and expanding the sales market. To achieve this, local enriching factories are being built. The Inaglinskaya-1 has been operating since last year. The Inaglinskaya-2 with a capacity of 12 million tons and Denisovskaya with a capacity of 6 million tons will be built soon. With such a pace, Kolmar can bec
The scale and the pace of the construction are impressive. It's hard to believe that a year ago there was nothing here. Now, there's a powerful enriching factory that will be launched next month.
The factory is built in record time together with partners from neighboring China. Tun Zheniang confesses that this is their first experience working in the extreme climate conditions. But he has no doubt that the facility will be commissioned on time and the equipment won't fail.
Tun Zheniang, AVIC manager, China: "The equipment was made in China and brought from there. We made it and brought from China in three months. This equipment will help achieve excellent production quality."
According to experts, the ADT status implementation in South Yakutia is going ahead of schedule. In the upcoming years, 3,000 jobs will be created here. This gives a strong impetus for the region's development.
