Sergey Briliov: The atmosphere is just breathtaking.

Sergey Lavrov, Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs: You know, I think that there are several reasons for that. What Ivica said when he was awarded the Order of Friendship, is indeed true. And those crowds who visited the wreath-laying ceremony at the Liberators of Belgrade memorial despite rain and snow, these people were not paid or forced to come at the ceremony, they came voluntarily. And the portraits of the Russian president, Russian flags those people brought to their heart's content.

We have such relations because we love our countries. And that's why Serbians love Russia, and Russians love Serbia. And maybe the current political situation also played its role, when both Russia and Serbia are subjects to an uncovered pressure. Ivica, in his speech, mentioned attempts to take advantage of the Serbian interest in European integration in order to force Serbia to take an anti-Russian stance. So I think that those are the reasons why the visit became so eventful and very emotional. And for that, we would like to thank our Serbian hosts.

- Thank you.
