ARSON: Ukrainian Ultras Set Fire to Church of St. Vladimir Because of Ties to Moscow Patriarchate


In Lvov, the radicals set fire to the temple of St. Prince Vladimir which belongs to the Moscow Patriarchate. The Regional Department for Civil Protection reports that the wooden structure was saved.

The fire destroyed the roof covering, the flooring, the cladding of the building and ornaments. The fire was extinguished only an hour later. The unknown malefactors escaped.
Vladimir Kuzyo, Father Superior of the Church of St. Vladimir: "They broke the windows and threw the incendiary mixture. It was an arson. We have no electricity, there is a battery that gives 12 volts and there is no chance it gives a spark. We turn it off when leaving the church".
