FSB STORMS Palace: Dagestani Officials Arrested in Special Operation; Jetted Out to Moscow for Justice

The acting head of the local government, two of his deputies, and the former minister of education were detained in Dagestan. A special FSB aircraft took them to Moscow.
Andrei Ivlev reporting.
Armed FSB special forces soldiers in masks appeared at an impregnable palace without windows and doors this morning. The owner was surprised. This is the acting head of the Dagestan government, Abdusamad Gamidov. The official was confused and silent. His house was found to be filled with weapons and ammunition. Seized from Gamidov were two Kalashnikovs, a collection of Beretta and PM pistols, and a golden TT-30. The weapons have the owner's initials on the grips.
Two more members of the Dagestan government were detained for accusations of major embezzlement of budget funds. Criminal cases have been instituted against them.
Svetlana Petrenko, the Investigative Committee of Russia: "In the near future, the investigation plans to indict all of the parties and petition the court for their detention".
Acting deputy prime ministers Shamil Isaev and Rajudyun Yusufov also will face justice. The former was wearing a mink hat and a fur collar. The former minister of education Shahabas Shahov could also be involved in criminal activity. Members of the government of Dagestan stole budget funds that were intended for social programs for years, according to investigators.
The acting head of the government of Dagestan Abdusamad Gamidov liked to live large. His house is an impregnable building. Paths paved with stone tiles, wrought-iron gates with a decorative ornament. There are fountains in the courtyard and a golden bird feeder on a tree. Here, the 52-year-old prime minister loved to dream and think about the eternal.
A special aircraft of the FSB took detainees to Moscow with unprecedented security measures. Operatives put on one of the detainees Rajudyun Yusufov special headphones and a mask, so that he couldn't hear conversations of security officials and didn't see the details of the flight.
Details of the secret operation appeared on Monday evening. A special aircraft of the FSB landed in the Makhachkala airport on Sunday evening. In the FSB's local administration building, meetings and preparations for the secret operation were held all night long. Operatives and special forces soldiers were divided into several groups and dispersed for investigative actions. Every measure was taken to prevent any leakage.
The high-ranking detainees from Dagestan will be spending this night in a temporary detention facility in Moscow, at Petrovka, 38, according to our source. Most likely, the measure of restraint will be chosen for them as early as tomorrow. The investigators are asking for an arrest.
