Yakutian Polar Settlements Are Expecting a Life-Saving Delivery: 500,000 Tons of Coal and Dozens of Boilers

Almost 500 000 tons of coal are planned to be delivered to towns and villages of Yakutia during the period of winter roads existing.

Almost 500 000 tons of coal are planned to be delivered to towns and villages of Yakutia during the period of winter roads existing.

Volumes increased due to the connection of new facilities. In polar settlements 18 boilers were built only during the last year. It is planned to build even more than a dozen boilers this year.

 

Over 500 houses have been connected to the central heating for five years. The delivery is according to the pre-approved schedule. Half of the norm has already been fulfilled.
