American Spies Working Overtime: Ambassador Says Russian Diplomats Constantly Being Approached
American intelligence services are trying to recruit Russian diplomats who worked at the consulate in Seattle. This was reported by the Russian Ambassador to the United States Anatoly Antonov. He noted that there have already been several such cases.
Anatoly Antonov: "In recent days, American special services have become more active. We know about the approaches to our diplomats. They are trying to persuade them to cooperate with American special services, they are offered to cooperate in the interests of the United States. I consider these actions outrageous, provocative. I think that... Is it even possible to talk about some kind of decency, some kind of good attitude towards our people, who have done everything to develop relations between our two countries? As they say, let God be their judge".
